This Powerbond Race Performance 5% Overdrive balancer is 5% larger than the factory balancer. This increased size increases the speed ratio between the balancer and the supercharger pulley, which spins the supercharger faster compared to the original balancer. The increased supercharger rpm gives an increase in boost pressure leading to a power increase.
This balancer is SFI approved to specification 18.1 and suits a range of VS - VY Commodores, and similar platforms, fitted with the L67 Supercharged 3.8L V6 engine.

This Race balancer will also fit Ecotec 3.8L V6 engines if an SFI approved balancer is required. However, the balancer will be required to be mirror balanced to your current Ecotec balancer.
