The CLA45 is back in the shop, this time for some crucial cooling upgrades!

Previously, we had taken this beast to Stage 2 with the following performance enhancements:

Previously, we had taken this beast to Stage 2 with the following performance enhancements:

Pushing the Limits Further

To take things to the next level, we installed a bigger water-to-air cooler, a turbo blanket, and a charge pipe. The results? A power increase to 276 kW—without any additional tuning! These upgrades not only improved cooling efficiency but also reduced heat soak, allowing for more consistent performance.

Unlocking More Potential

We then turned our focus to correcting torque management and refining fueling, and the results were undeniable. Without even touching the tune, the CLA45 is now pushing 286 kW consistently, with lower air intake temperatures across the board. Lower temps mean more reliable power delivery, better engine efficiency, and improved performance longevity!

The Verdict

Cooling mods are often overlooked, but they play a massive role in extracting maximum power and reliability from a high-performance build. This CLA45 is now running stronger than ever, ready to dominate the road and track.
