Simon’s Mazda GT25 2.5L naturally aspirated 4-cylinder rolled into our workshop for a performance upgrade, and we knew just what to do. With a Takeda Intake and a Custom Dyno Tune, we managed to give his car a new level of performance without needing any major modifications.
The Takeda Intake is designed to maximize airflow, which paired perfectly with the custom tune we created for Simon’s Mazda. The results were impressive: smoother throttle response, a broader torque spread, and an increase in overall power. The car now pulls stronger throughout the rev range, making everyday driving much more engaging and responsive.
What’s even better is that all of these gains were achieved without any significant modifications to the engine itself. It’s a great reminder that sometimes, a few key upgrades are all you need to take your ride to the next level.
